Become an Ambassador
Ambassadors are volunteers who play a key role in AuDHD UK. Their job is to promote awareness of our charity, support others, and help us raise funds, whether that’s through donations, fundraising events, or doing talks at local schools and businesses.
What are the benefits of being an AuDHD UK Ambassador?
Your name and profile will be displayed on our website and posted on our social media.
You will gain experience in areas such as leadership and communication.
You will challenge the stigma surrounding autism and ADHD, mental health, and suicide.
You will feel a sense of satisfaction and pride for making a difference in people’s lives.
You will be representing a cause close to your heart.
What Does an Ambassador Do?
Represent the Charity
Ambassadors are the face of AuDHD UK. You will be invited to share your story on our website and social media, attend fundraising activities, and may even be invited to talk at some of our AuDHD in the Workplace Training and Education Programme events.
Raise Awareness and Funds
A key part of being an ambassador is helping us to raise awareness of AuDHD UK through their own personal and professional connections, as well as encouraging others to fundraise for the charity. All ambassadors commit to personally raising £500 for AuDHD UK per year.
Encourage and Support Others
Ambassadors are role models in our community. We all face our own challenges, and ambassadors must be kind and supportive to others. Some ambassadors are invited to run our online peer support groups.
Who Would Make a Good Ambassador?
We are looking for people who:
are kind, caring, and approachable
are passionate about autism and ADHD
are genuinely interested in raising awareness about late diagnosis, and the connections between autism and ADHD, mental health conditions, and suicide
are able to host and attend fundraising events
can commit to raising £500 per year for AuDHD UK
will support us by sharing and posting about our latest initiatives and activities on their social media
