Ambassador terms and conditions.
Thank you for your interest in becoming an AuDHD UK Ambassador and supporting us on our mission to end autism and ADHD-related suicides in the UK.
To protect AuDHD UK and everyone we support, all ambassadors must adhere to the following terms and conditions. Agreeing to these terms allows you to use our charity name (‘AuDHD UK’), and our ‘AuDHD UK Ambassador’ and fundraising materials.
If you go against these terms and conditions at any point during your Ambassadorship, AuDHD UK retains the right to revoke your Ambassadorship.
You cannot be an AuDHD UK Ambassador if you are under 18 years of age.
Independence from, and protection of, AuDHD UK
Your role as an AuDHD UK Ambassador is voluntary. You are not employed by AuDHD UK.
You may choose to resign as an Ambassador at any time. If you do so, please inform us in writing by emailing hello@audhduk.org.
When attending events hosted by AuDHD UK in your role as an Ambassador, you must behave in a professional and acceptable manner.
You must contact us to request approval before approaching any companies, national press, or celebrities.
AuDHD UK is apolitical, so you must not use AuDHD UK’s name in any political activity.
Use of AuDHD UK Ambassador materials
A range of resources are available to you as an Ambassador, which will be sent to you if your application is approved. You must not alter these materials other than to add your fundraising event details where required. If you need us to send these to you again, please contact us.
You shall not use any of the AuDHD UK logos or branding in any way other than for Ambassador purposes.
Independent fundraising activities
You are organising fundraising activities as an independent supporter of AuDHD UK, raising funds for AuDHD UK.
All references on your materials should state, ‘AuDHD UK Ambassador’, ‘in aid of AuDHD UK’ or ‘supporting AuDHD UK’.
You will organise all aspects of your own fundraising activities and it is your responsibility to ensure all necessary permissions and licences have been obtained. AuDHD UK accepts no liability relating to your fundraising activity.
You must ensure that the activity is covered by full and comprehensive insurance where necessary, and that you have all health and safety measures in place when necessary for your fundraising activities. AuDHD UK is not liable for any injury to person or material damage or loss which results from your fundraising activity.
Acceptable fundraising activities and standards
All fundraising activities must adhere to the Fundraising Code of Practice.
For guidance on the behavioural standards required of all fundraisers, please see: Behaviour when fundraising | Fundraising Regulator
You will not engage in cash collections in the street or by going from door to door unless this has been organised by AuDHD UK.
Fundraising events held on private premises that involve a percentage of ticket sales and/or collections need to be discussed with and authorised by AuDHD UK. Please get in touch with details about your event or collection.
Dealing with the money raised for AuDHD UK
You will transfer all funds collected/raised, and return your Paying In Form and any Sponsorship Forms, to AuDHD UK within 6 weeks of the activity ending. If you are not able to do this, then you must inform us in writing by emailing hello@audhduk.org.
You must not use your fundraising for any kind of personal, commercial, or private financial gain.
For further information, please see: Processing donations | Fundraising Regulator
Other terms and guidance
Please see the Fundraising Regulator’s website for further information and guidance relating to fundraising.
Thank you so much for your efforts. Every penny raised goes towards our mission to end autism and ADHD-related suicides in the UK.
